General Help .eff and .par questions

after creating a new .eff file for a new weapon glow what is the next step in adding it to a weapon or does it have to have a .par file and be added to scene effect?

If you want to get help with this issue, you need to write more details about what and how. How did you create the effect, what are you doing, and what isn't working?
Unfortunately, I have lost my psychic abilities and can't read minds.

I made the effect using the tool from perseus

it exports the .eff file to effects folder but unfortunately no par file is created. so i dont think its that anything is wrong or not working, its more that im confused on what to do next in order to add the effect to a weapon because i was under the assumption a par is needed to add the eff.

you mostly need to build his latest release if he fixed .par export
but u can use released effect editor c++ one for edit both .eff , .par the source of it already shared with 2016 source
after u fix it suppose to be like this

I haven't really tested the export flow very well so I would recommend using the tool Mothanna linked to above. Obviously, I appreciate any feedback/bug reports, but I wouldn't say that the tool is ready to go
